TV actors and power couple Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy are relishing a beautiful new chapter in their lives following the arrival of twins into their family. The new parents often share glimpses of their new journey with their followers on social media. Not long ago, they hosted a naming ceremony and lovingly introduced their twins as Radhya and Raditya. In their latest update, the couple made a heartwarming visit to the ISKCON temple with their children, seeking blessings for the newborns, and shared a candid snapshot of the moment on Instagram.
“Double the love, double the blessings on our babies’ first visit to the ISKCON Temple. Twinning In Faith,” Pankhuri Awasthy wrote along with the glimpses. In the photograph, the actors were captured in a beautiful moment, visiting the ISKCON temple with their twin babies. Pankhuri and Gautam were seated on the temple steps, cradling one of the twins each.

Their devoted fans were understandably thrilled to catch a glimpse of the family and extended their heartfelt blessings to the newborns. One of them wrote, “Many blessings to the Rode Awasthy family. Long, good and happy life always. All the best to you.” Another fan said, “My lovely couple and sweet babies. God bless you all.”
On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy celebrated their twins’ naming ceremony with great joy. They excitedly announced on Instagram that they had chosen the names Radhya for their daughter and Raditya for their son. In a delightful video shared, their entire family could be seen dancing and enjoying the ceremony. After the lively celebrations, the family came together for a puja.
In the picture, Gautam and Pankhuri stood in front of a beautifully decorated wall with white and pink balloons for the name reveal. A yellow board read, ‘NAAMKARAN SANSKAR.’ The couple burst the balloons to reveal the names. They also shared the meaning of the two names they chose for their babies, which are rooted in mythology and spiritualism.

Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy initially crossed paths on the sets of Razia Sultan, but it was during their collaboration once more in 2015, on the show Suryaputra Karn, that their bond truly blossomed. The couple later got engaged in 2017, and the following year, they tied the knot in a spectacular ceremony held at the Tijara Fort Palace in Alwar, Rajasthan. In April this year, the couple announced the news of their pregnancy and the twins were born on July 25.
