Katha Ankahee, the popular television show featuring Adnan Khan and Aditi Dev Sharma, has garnered praise for its engaging plot. And now, the daily soap has come to an end and the final shoot day proved to be an emotional rollercoaster for the entire cast. As the cast wrapped up the shoot, there were heartfelt moments of cake-cutting and warm hugs, marking the end of their journey with Katha Ankahee. Adnan Khan, who portrayed Viaan in the show, openly shared his gratitude and emotions upon concluding the shoot for both the show and his character.

In a conversation with Etimes TV, Adnan Khan discussed the show’s leap and provided insights into the development of his character in the upcoming episodes. Reflecting on the concluding day, he expressed the complexity of his emotions. “I can’t express my feelings in words because today, our last day on the sets has been a roller coaster ride of emotions. Today when I woke up I was feeling excellent as it was the last day, I was feeling happy and blessed that God gave me an opportunity to work with wonderful people and writers,” he said.

The television actor further said that he is “very grateful” that he got this opportunity. Initially, Adnan was filled with happiness and gratitude. However, when he arrived on the set, Samar played emotional songs in the morning. During lunch, Samar remarked, “Do you realize this is the last time we’re having lunch on the sets?” Reacting to this, Adnan Khan began to imagine, Bidisha sharing her tears, emphasizing that this might be our final journey together. The weight of the moment hit him, realizing it was the last day. Despite this, Adnan Khan, being a kind person, chose to focus on gratitude for the opportunity.

Rather than dwelling on the potential sense of loss for Katha Ankahee, Adnan Khan aims to remain thankful. “I hope I’m able to continue with this feeling, pata chala Kal ghar par baith ke main akele ro raha hoon. I don’t know about tomorrow but right now I feel blessed,” he told ETimes.

During the conversation, Adnan Khan also expressed his gratitude to the audience for their unwavering support and affection. Nevertheless, it is a universal truth that all beautiful things should come to an end. In this context, he said, “It is better to burn out than fade away.” Despite not being easily moved emotionally, Adnan shed tears as his director, Ravi sir, bid farewell. His emotions usually surface when he is alone at home, but in this moment, the actor is filled with a sense of contentment and joy.

Sharing his experience of working with co-actor Aditi Sharma, Adnan Khan said, “I am thrilled to have had the chance to work with the fantastic actress Aditi Sharma. She is not peculiar or excessively self-centered; instead, she remains humble and balanced. I am genuinely delighted by the experience.”

Katha Ankahee revolves around the life of Katha Singh, a single mother, and Viaan Raghuvanshi, a renowned architect. The show is inspired by the Turkish serial One Thousand And One Nights.

Adnan Khan started his television journey as Mawlawi Kabeer Ahmed in Zee TV’s Ishq Subhan Allah. The actor will be next seen in director Anuj Sharma’s upcoming thriller film, The Rage: Over Injustice, alongside Roshni Kapoor and Aditya Khurana.
