However, fans of the talented actress have a reason to celebrate as she is all set to grace the screen once again. This time, she will be featuring in a web series alongside the acclaimed Jennifer Winget and Karan Wahi.
According to a report from ETimes, sources close to the project have revealed that the series will revolve around the story of two sisters, with Jennifer Winget and Reem Shaikh taking on these pivotal roles. The show, tentatively titled The Legal Case, is set to be a love story. Reem has already signed the contract, and production for the series is expected to commence shortly.
As per the reports, Reem Shaikh’s father confirmed the news and said, “Yes, Reem is doing the show. We are quite excited about this new project.”
Furthermore, this new project signifies a delightful reunion for Jennifer Winget and Karan Wahi. The dynamic duo had previously graced the screen together in the immensely popular show Dill Mill Gayye. In the series, Jennifer essayed the role of Dr. Riddhima, while Karan made a memorable entrance as Dr. Siddhant midway through the storyline. Their on-screen chemistry was so captivating that fans affectionately shipped them as #Sidhiema.
Recently, Reem Shaikh spoke about her remarkable 13-year journey in the television industry, expressing her gratitude for the opportunities she has received. She shared, “I am very grateful for the journey I’ve had. A few weeks ago, I completed 13 years in the industry and it feels wonderful. I started off with no plans and I didn’t even know where I would land or which way my career would go. The positivity that I’ve inside me and I always try to keep myself as grounded as possible. I never let stardom or popularity enter my head.”
Reem Shaikh has made a significant impact on the entertainment industry over the span of a decade. Her illustrious career includes starring roles in successful shows such as Chakravartin Ashok Samrat and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, among others. She was last seen in the supernatural fantasy drama Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal alongside Karan Kundrra and Gashmeer Mahajani.
