Fresh off her political debut with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the wake of the Lok Sabha elections, TV actress Rupali Ganguly seems to have a busy schedule, travelling between Mumbai and Delhi. She recently made a visit to the national capital and shared glimpses of her travel diary on Instagram. Rupali dropped a few moments from inside her flight, posing for selfies while being seated. The actress was glowing in a yellow salwar-kameez. “Good morning sunshine,” she wrote.
Prior to this, Rupali shared many pictures and short clips from her trip on Instagram stories. While one of them shows the actress walking towards the airport gate, she captioned it with “Subah subah” along with a ‘Chalo Dilli’ sticker. In another clip, the Anupamaa star was seen twirling in the airport. Moments later, she also shared clips of her taking off and landing.
While the motive behind her Delhi visit is not known, it was just a one-day affair as the actress is already back in the bay. Another Instagram post shows her flaunting the BJP’s logo, suggesting that she had some party-related work.
Later in the evening, Rupali shared a video of her return trip to Mumbai. This time, dressed in a saree, she can be seen walking towards her flight, which she captioned “Chalo Mumbai.”
Earlier this month, the television actress took everyone by surprise after she joined the BJP at the party headquarters in Delhi. While praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s work, she said, “The personality that attracts everyone towards the BJP is PM Narendra Modi. His style of working, personality, and the way he has taken our country towards development have made every Indian want to join ‘Modi Sena’.”
On the Work Front
Helming the popular daily soap Anupamaa, the actress has been impressing audiences with her performance. The show continues to top the TRP charts every week. As the story proceeds, viewers will witness how Aadhya’s (Aurra Bhatnagar) growing hatred towards Anupamaa intensifies after Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) leaves his daughter’s birthday party to be with his ex-wife.
Speculations are also making the rounds that Rupali Ganguly might soon exit the show. However, there is no confirmation from her.
In the meantime, the actress recently reunited with her Sarabhai vs Sarabhai co-star Ratna Pathak Shah and the results were epic. The two came together for a Flipkart ad, exuding their signature characters and looks, as Monisha and Maya. Fans were left very excited as they saw their favourite duo back on the screen.
