Arriving late to school is seen as indiscipline, but resorting to violence is equally unacceptable, as demonstrated by a school principal who engaged in such behaviour on the school premises. A video capturing the principal assaulting a teacher, sparking a brawl between them, is circulating on the internet.
The incident reportedly took place at a pre-secondary school in Seegana village of Agra. It all started when the principal reprimanded the teacher, Gunja Chaudhary, for being late to school, sparking a heated argument. In response, the teacher claimed that the principal, too, had been arriving late for the past four days, leading to a verbal exchange between them. The confrontation turned physical as tensions escalated, as shown in the video.

Both the principal and the teacher resorted to using derogatory language and physical violence. Despite attempts by other staff members to intervene and defuse the situation, their efforts were in vain. The principal, instead of acknowledging her role in the altercation, shifted the blame onto the teacher, further escalating the conflict.
In the background of the video, a voice can be heard questioning the principal’s behaviour. The teacher reportedly sustained injuries during the fight, as claimed by her colleague on camera.

The incident has sparked widespread discussion and concern within the education department, with many expressing shock and dismay at the behaviour exhibited by the school officials. Both the headmistress and the teacher have reportedly lodged a complaint at the Sikandra police station regarding the incident.

Commenting on the matter, BSA Jitendra Kumar Gond acknowledged the severity of the situation, stating that the dispute between the teachers has garnered significant attention following the circulation of the viral video on social media. stating that the dispute between the teachers came to light through the viral video on social media. “We are investigating the matter. Once we have all the details, we will provide further information,” BSA Kumar Gond said.
