A recent social media update by the co-founder of Holistic Health, Niraj Dugar has sparked a heated debate online. Niraj, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), suggested that those who constantly criticise or find fault in India should not stay in the country.
Niraj wrote, “One question for people who continuously find faults in India. Why are you still here?”

The post soon was flooded with a flurry of replies, with many lashing out at the Hyderabad-based entrepreneur.
“Ah because it’s their country, and if there’s a fault. They can’t turn blind eyes. Additionally getting rid of a passport isn’t as easy as changing jeans. Not all have the luxury of doing so,” a user wrote.

Niraj rejected the arguments and replied that those who criticise India, hardly do anything to improve the condition in their personal capacity.
“Yes. So the folks who rant consistently should be doing something to improve it right? What are they doing? Constant rant is much easier than changing jeans for sure.”

Another person explained his reasons for living in India and not moving out of the country.
“Too comfortable to move, got aged dependent parent with a medical history, might need medical care in maybe 2 decades, have a company to run, moving with family ain’t cheap, don’t have family wealth. If these weren’t the case, I’d have gladly left a long time ago,” he wrote.

Another user mentioned, “Because I don’t have a passport to allow me the flexibility to live anywhere!”

“We criticise to improve, you cope to stay mid”, wrote a user suggesting that those who highlight any issues do it to improve the condition.

One of them called the question “wrong”.
This is a wrong question to ask. It assumes everyone has an option to move. Finding faults is perfectly fine with the intent to change and hold people responsible.— Praveen | ప్రవీణ్ (@dexterslab) September 23, 2024
One commenter stated that criticising the government does not imply a lack of love for the nation.
People should always question the govt. Raising genuine concerns doesn't mean we don't love india.— Abhijeet (@book__snippets) September 24, 2024
Meanwhile, a supporting comment read, “Maybe they only are the problem.”
