Gautam Gambhir Trolled With Memes After India Lose Series Against Sri Lanka in 27 Years
As Sri Lanka ended a 27-year drought, stunning India with a 110-run victory in 3rd ODI to clinch the series 2-0, the Internet started trolling Gautam Gambhir.

Sri Lanka secured a 110-run victory over India in the third and final ODI at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Wednesday, August 7. Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat first. They posted a challenging total of 248/7. Despite a promising start from India, with Rohit Sharma hitting boundaries, the innings collapsed dramatically. Sri Lankan spinner Dunith Wellalage dismantled the Indian batting order by sending key players – Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav – back to the pavilion. As a result, Men in Blue were bowled out for a meagre 138 in 26.1 overs.

As Sri Lanka registered their first bilateral ODI series win over India since 1997, cricket lovers started trolling head coach Gautam Gambhir on social media.
