Guess How Bill Gates Spends A Long Weekend? By Playing Pickleball Of Course
Bill Gates was dressed in a white collared T-shirt and a pair of red shorts. A white cap and matching colour-coded sneakers made him ready for a gane of pickleball.

Most people kickstart their weekend by either going out for a drink or hanging out with friends. Some even prefer to get cosy in their beds and embark on a binge-watching spree. However, these set rules do not apply to former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates. The business tycoon believes in doing something productive even on off days and his social media outings prove the same. Guess how the billionaire wishes to spend his “long weekend”? By indulging in a good game of pickleball — a sport that he has a special fondness for.

In his recent Instagram entry, Bill Gates shared a picture standing at a court. He was dressed in a white collared T-shirt and a pair of red shorts. A white cap and matching colour-coded sneakers made him ready to smash the ball. The billionaire businessman held a racquet in his hand and was looking sideways. “I can’t think of a better way to spend a long weekend than on the court as a pickler,” read his caption.

Bill Gates’ love for racquet sports dates a long time back. In March 2018, he paired up with tennis legend Roger Federer for a charity match titled “Match For Africa”. Sharing a post with Federer on Instagram, Gates’ heartfelt post revealed the details of the contest, meant for a noble cause. “I got to do what every tennis fan dreams of: play on the same side of the court as the greatest tennis player of all time. Roger Federer and I teamed up for a mixed doubles match against Savannah Guthrie and Jack Sock at the Match For Africa in San Jose. I had a lot of fun playing in last year’s Match for Africa and was happy to do it again this year,” he wrote.

Bill Gates added that the friendly match was organised to raise money for the Roger Federer Foundation to help “improve education for low-income kids.” In the candid click, Gates and Federer were seen in their sports jerseys as they walked towards each other from the opposite direction. Both sported beaming smiles in the photograph and raised their hands to share a high-five.
