Leander Paes is a Dancer? 6-year-old's 'Aww-dorable' Mistake Has Tennis Legend's Attention
Viral Post: 6-year-old hilariously mistakes Leander Paes as a dancer in 'match the following' question, tennis legend has 'this' to say to her.

Widely regarded as one of the greatest doubles tennis players of all time, Leander Paes needs no introduction. However, for a 6-year-old, an introduction was precisely what was required. Why, you may wonder? Well, in what could be termed as an endearing error, a young girl mistakenly associated the tennis icon’s name with ‘dancer’ in a matching question, much to the amusement of her uncle who couldn’t resist sharing the delightful mix-up online.

The individual, known by the handle @Puneite_ on ‘X’, posted a snapshot from his niece’s workbook where she was tasked with linking famous personalities with their respective professions or fields of expertise. While she correctly paired Virat Kohli with ‘cricketer’ and Lata Mangeshkar with ‘singer’, the ensuing confusion provided pure comedic gold as she interchanged Leander Paes and Prabhu Deva, labelling the former as a ‘dancer’ and the latter as a ‘tennis player’. LOL indeed!

“My 6yo niece thinks Tennis legend @Leander is a dancer,” read the caption of the now-viral post. Soon enough, it caught the attention of the 50-year-old tennis ace, whose response was nothing short of humorous.

He shared a snippet from Salman Khan’s iconic ‘O Oh Jaane Jaana’ song, but the twist came when he superimposed his own face on Khan’s to comically depict what the adorable 6-year-old might have envisioned. But that wasn’t all. The caption, “The rumours are true,” elicited uproarious laughter from all quarters.

Commentators joined in with their own witty remarks, with one joking, “This pretty face got a smooth landing on this body ngl, only haters will gonna say its edited.” Another quipped, “Leander Paes who? It’s Leander Prem for you guys.”

The third one added, “Leander be like: D in my name stands for DANCE.” The fourth couldn’t contain their amusement and remarked, “And Salman Paes is the only Indian to win an Olympic medal in tennis.”
