While Maggi continues to remain our ultimate saviour for midnight cravings over the years, our all-time favourite food has been exploited a lot. Despite being a very flavourful dish in itself, it seems like people aren’t satisfied as they continue experimenting with it. From putting chocolate, fruits, pani puri, and even ice cream into it, the essence of the dish has been ruined. As we are just trying to get over some bizarre Maggi combinations, someone just came along with “Biryani Maggi”. An Instagram user recently shared a video of the same, showing our favourite Maggi being prepared by using the biryani recipe.

As the video plays, the user can be seen chopping onions and caramelising them, just like it is used in biryani. Later, he chops vegetables including beans, carrots, chilies, curry leaves, and coriander leaves. In the next step, the user can be seen stir-frying all the vegetables in the pan by combining spices like red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and others.

In the end, he puts Maggi chunks inside the pan and of course a lot of biryani masala as a topping. Upon being cooked, the biryani flavoured Maggi is served on a plate with coriander leaves.

Apart from the video, the user also shared a detailed ingredients list for the recipe including items like “Maggi, onion, carrot, beans, green chili, coriander leaf, mint leaf, jeera, chopped ginger, chopped garlic, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, biriyani masala powder, salt, kasturi methi, and water.”

While the video somehow looks convincing, social media users didn’t seem quite impressed with it. A user wrote, “Maggi in 60 minutes”, while another one wrote, “Maggi could never be made in 2 minutes. Then comes bro with his 200 minute recipe.”

“Tomato and gg paste left the chat,” a third user commented, while a fourth one wrote, “At the end it tastes same as Maggie with added masala. No difference.” Some even suggested the user to make biryani instead.

Shared a day ago, the video has so far garnered over 4 million views, followed by more than 1,00,000 likes and several comments.

This is not the first time that such an ‘unacceptable’ recipe has made rounds on the internet. From Maggi being prepared with Cadbury gems to Maggi parantha, whiskey Maggi, and Maggi burger, these recipes recently got the internet cringed.
