This Indian And Scottish Music Mix At Wedding Deserves The Title Of 'Best Collab Ever'

Mixing of cultures often results in wholesome results be it fusion cuisine or music. Now a video, from an Indian and Scottish wedding is raking in likes, thanks to the joyful music created by the mix of Indian drums and Scottish bagpipes. The undated video, which appears to be taken at a wedding reception, shows the bride and the groom entering a wedding hall as musicians play drums alongside bagpipers who are dressed in their traditional costumes. This video has gathered over 8.8 lakh likes on Instagram since it was posted on February 3.

In the comments, many people praised the musical symphony created by the two cultures. Commenting on the video, an Instagram user wrote, “The kids will be able to drink and eat spicy food like a champ.” Another person joked, “Now this is a wedding I need to go to. Back in August 2022, a video went viral that showed a make-up artist transforming a Nigerian woman into a Hindu bride on her wedding day. The look was complete with a bridal lehenga and traditional jewellery like maang tika and a nath.

While sharing the video of the transformation, makeup artist Neha Waraich Grover wrote, “Isn’t she looking Indian after the makeover? Ps:- it was my dream to do an African girl as an Indian bride. I was looking for an African model for that, and then I got this real bride.. Yippee! Felt so lucky that i got an opportunity to doll her up for her big day.” Her video got over 6,000 likes.

Commenting on it, an Instagram user wrote, “That’s the most beautiful Indian bride I’ve ever seen! She’s gorgeous! I love this.” Another person observed, “Her hairs more beautiful with her braids. Loved her look.” “I loved that u didn’t change her color at all,” wrote the third.
