The internet is full of amusing videos, showing people transforming their normal vehicles into something unusual. Now, a video is making rounds on the internet where two brothers from Uttar Pradesh gave a ‘desi jugaad’ and altered their simple Maruti Wagon R into a helicopter. With a whole new meaning to the word ‘upgrade’, the brothers’ creation took the internet by storm as they gave “wings” to their Maruti car. While the viral video featuring the brothers’ unique innovation has left the internet quite impressed; it seems like the innovation failed to impress the Uttar Pradesh police as the helicopter was immediately seized. The incident took place in UP’s Ambedkar Nagar.

Car transformed into helicopter

The video gained traction after it was shared on X (Formerly Twitter) by a user named Priya Singh. In the video, the car can be seen modified with the tail at its back and the fan of the helicopter on top of it. “In Ambedkar Nagar, UP, two brothers converted a car into a helicopter using Jugaad. They were going to get the dent painted when the police caught them. And the vehicle (helicopter) was seized,” the video’s caption read.

According to the video, the brothers were caught after they went to get the dent on the car painted. The video shows the car parked outside the police station with a few police officers investigating the vehicle cum helicopter, while also interacting with the locals.

Social media flooded the comments section with praise and appreciation. A user wrote, “We should respect innovation absolutely, innovation drives progress and pushes boundaries in every aspect of society. It’s crucial to respect and encourage innovation to foster growth, solve problems, and improve the quality of life for everyone,” while another commented, “Very interesting and amazing, really much much fun unbelievable.”

“This is the rejection of talent. Those who should be rewarded are being punished, IIT institutes should take cognizance,” another remarked.

“Had it been a foreigner, these people would have been rewarded, but friends, we are in trouble with such a law that if we show our skills, we will go to jail,” a user wrote.

The video has so far gained over 54,000 views along with hundreds of likes and retweets.
