Many of us have been influenced by horror films more than we do realise and try to inject a dose of horror into real life too, by letting our imaginations run wild. A video from March that is circling the internet is an example of such imagination. The video will remind you of films like Alfred Hitchcock’s classic Psycho, where Norman Bates used to spy on the female protagonist through a hole in the wall. At first glance, the video is quite scary but people in the comments section have deduced the mystery in the video and turned it into a hilarious funfest with the comments. The video shows an eerie eye peeping out of a hole in a dilapidated building.
The video starts with a few people exploring a dilapidated house without plaster on its walls. Junk is spread all around the room, giving the idea that the house was deserted for quite some time. One of the men uses a flashlight and points it towards a hole in the wall and eerily enough, an eye is seen peeping out of the hole in the wall.
The eye does not blink even after the flashlight is pointed at it and it will surely give you the creeps. The unsettling music that has been added to the video also works to creep you out.
While the original poster of the video has tried to suggest something sinister lurking behind the walls of the house, users are convinced that it is just a cat. Many users have commented that the eye looks like that of a cat and it is nothing to be terrified of. There have also been some hilarious comments like someone suggesting to use pepper spray on the eye behind the wall while another suggested to poke the eye with a finger.
