Claudia, attempted to join the Creator Fund of TikTok but her application was rejected.

A social media user named Claudia Brookes believed to be from the United States of America, recently landed in a soup. According to The Sun website, the USA-based lady realised that she could not pay the rent for this month. Claudia created an account on TikTok to cover her expenses. In an urgent plea for help, Claudia uploaded a clip of herself crying, and bravely opened up about her financial struggles. The clip showed the young lady revealing that she couldn’t think of a way out of the dire situation which could make her homeless if unresolved. According to Claudia,” ”Guys, I don’t know what to do anymore. I am so stressed with money, I don’t even know how I’m gonna pay rent this month.”

As per Claudia, she’d attempted to join the social media platform TikTok’s creator fund but her application was rejected. It is because there were some requirements that she failed to fulfil. Claudia hadn’t reached the required following of 10,000 followers. In July 2020, TikTok launched the Creator Fund to allow its users to earn money by garnering views. As per Backstage magazine, the requirements to successfully apply for this fund are that the users need to prove their legal citizenship in the USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France or Spain. The users also need to be at least 18 years of age and boast 10,000 followers. These followers should be authentic – not purchased. Also, the videos should have received at least 1,00,000 authentic views in the 30 days before applying,

The fortunes turned for Claudia after she shared her heartwrenching clip on the popular platform. Not only did her video garner a of attention winning her a staggering 4.1million views – but she also saw her following grow massively. Unlike the mere 25 fans she had before the now-viral video, Claudia’s profile now boasts a whopping 34,000 followers. The USA-based lady is beyond grateful to the users for this accomplishment and said that she wanted to take two minutes to thank everyone after she suffered a mental breakdown yesterday.
