You may have surely heard that dogs are man’s best friends. However, it looks like cats are best friends with women! Especially women who are musically inclined, and no, we are not talking about the pop star Taylor Swift this time. While Taylor is pretty well known for her love for cats and owning a dozen of them, there’s another popular musician equally in love with the creature. Meet Esther Abrami, a social media personality and a violinist. Just like Swift, she also owns and loves her cats like her own family members, but with furs and four tiny paws.

Esther often shares videos and photos of herself playing the violin at events and even practising at home. Many of these videos present on her social media accounts also feature her pet cats, one of whom is named Rémila.

About four years ago, in 2024, Esther shared a couple of videos where she is practising her music at home while her cat is peeking and stretching from a small fanny tied around her waist. In the video which was recorded at the start of her practice session, the cat even follows Esther’s hand movements as she plays and tries to grab her fingers in the most adorable way. In the other video which was recorded by the end of her session, cat Rémila had fallen asleep and her body hung half down from the red fanny pack as Esther continued to play.

This lovely clip has recently resurfaced after a user shared it on platform X (formally Twitter).

In the caption of the original video, the violinist shared some information about the cat. “Rémila’s story: This kitten was abandoned but thankfully rescued by the cat shelter. As a host family, I took care of her for the past week. When she arrived she was less than 400 grams, scared and had breathing issues from having stayed outside for several days,” she wrote.

“I’m happy to say that after 7 days of milk bottles and constant cuddles, Rémila has now become one of the friendliest cats I’ve ever seen. She follows me absolutely everywhere around the house and refuses to be left alone on the floor. She is always either on my lap or in her little bag around my waist,” she added.

Rémila is not the only cat the artist has adopted. In another video, she can be seen carrying two kittens in her backpack while she rehearses.

The comment section of both videos is filled with viewers gushing over the kittens. “She is such an adorable and sweet precious baby,” wrote a person while another one said, “This is so adorable, I might cry.”

Praising her video, a user wrote, “You are such a nice person I love your playing violin and also the way you play violin with cats, it’s a wonderful thing. God bless you.”
