People from every corner of the country came together to celebrate this vibrant occasion, applying colours to each other with enthusiasm. It’s no surprise that Japan’s Ambassador to India, Hiroshi Suzuki, along with his wife Eiko Suzuki, embraced the occasion with gusto.
The festival of Holi is renowned for the application of ‘gulaal’ (coloured powder) on each other. People also celebrate by splashing water balloons filled with colours, exchanging flowers, indulging in various sweets and drinking ‘thandai’ (a traditional drink). Hiroshi Suzuki is seen wearing a white T-shirt and pants, while his wife, Eiko Suzuki, is dressed in a black T-shirt and pants. They are captured laughing and enjoying the moment as it gets recorded.
