Watch: 'Slow And Steady' Tortoise 'Wins Race' Against Rabbit

Remember the rabbit and tortoise story through which we learnt the most important life lesson: “Slow and steady wins the race?” While we grew up, we had our own set of experiences and learnings, but the rabbit and tortoise story remained in the back of our minds. And now a video from an animal race showing the same has gone viral.

The story began with a rabbit bragging about how fast he could run. He mocked the tortoise for being slow, and the two agreed to a race. As the race began, the rabbit sprinted ahead of the tortoise. Halfway through, they decided to take a quick nap because he couldn’t see the tortoise anywhere near itself. The tortoise walked step by step, eventually reaching the finishing line before the rabbit, who, upon waking up, realised he had lost the race.

In the video posted on X, a race was organised between a rabbit and a tortoise. As expected, the rabbit sprinted first but halted halfway, while the turtle remained focused and crossed the finish line, as elaborated in the childhood story. The caption along with the video read, “Turtle Rocked, People Again Shocked.”

The video went viral in no time and has earned over 2.6 million views so far. Many online users also commented on the post, saying how the old legend came true.
