'Wait For The Final Fate': SFJ's Pannun Threatens Canadian MP Over Criticism Of Khalistani Extremism
Arya's powerful speech highlighted these incidents, urging law enforcement agencies to address Khalistani extremism with the seriousness it deserves

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, general counsel of the outlawed Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) outfit, has issued an open threat against Canadian MP Chandra Arya over his repeated criticism of increasing Khalistan extremism in the country.

This follows Arya’s vocal concerns about the escalating violence targeting Hindus in Canada, which he directly linked to Khalistani extremism. CNN-News18 earlier reported how Arya delivered a speech in the Canadian Parliament, where he explicitly addressed the issue of Khalistani extremism.

In a two-minute audio message released subsequently, Pannun called for Arya to be charged with treason, accusing him of acting as a mouthpiece for the Indian government and spreading disinformation about Khalistan supporters.

‘Let’s all wait for the final fate’

Punnun further said that Arya would face consequences for his stance, saying, “Let’s all wait for the final fate of MP Arya!” This latest threat against Arya is not an isolated incident. CNN-News18 previously reported on multiple attacks against Canadian journalists by suspected Khalistani extremists.

Numerous other attacks have been reported in the Greater Toronto Area and across Canada. Arya’s speech underlined these incidents, urging law enforcement agencies to address Khalistani extremism with the seriousness it deserves. He stressed the urgency of the situation, saying, “It has to be dealt with an iron hand before it is too late.”

Intelligence sources have confirmed the severity of the situation, stressing the need for the Trudeau administration to ensure the safety of minorities, particularly Hindu Canadians, who are increasingly becoming targets of violence.

They point to Pannun’s repeated threats as a clear indication that Canadian authorities must take concrete action against SFJ and other extremist groups operating within the country. This is consistent with what the Indian government has been maintaining for the past few months. New Delhi has underlined that the main issue between the two countries is that of Canada giving space to pro-Khalistan elements operating from Canadian soil with impunity.
