WWE fans got to witness a North American Championship fight as Dragon Lee defended his title on the latest episode of the NXT. The latest segment of the WWE NXT also featured the rivalry intense between Fallon Henley and Tiffany Stratton. In the women’s segment, Nikkita Lyons was involved in a clash with Tatum Paxley. The Men’s Breakout Tournament also proceeded last night with Lexis King featuring in the competition. Luca Crusifino and Tavion Heights also took part in the Men’s Breakout Tournament on the December 19 episode of WWE NXT. Fans got a chance to experience NXT champion Ilja Dragunov’s appearance. Ilja Dragunov was up against Ridge Holland on the latest episode of the WWE NXT yesterday.
This week’s episode of WWE NXT kicked off with Tiffany Stratton making her entrance.
Tiffany Stratton vs Fallon Henley
In the opening battle of the night, Tiffany Stratton took on Fallon Henley. Despite possessing immense talent, the two fighters could not produce a long bout. Henley came up with The Sunset Flip to get the better of Stratton.
Lexis King vs Dion Lennox
Lexis King and Dion Lennox were up against each other in a first-round fight in the 2023 Men’s Breakout Tournament last night. King produced an impressive show to beat Lennox.
Jacy Jayne and Thea Hail vs Kianna James and Izzi Dame
In the next clash of the night, Jacy Jayne and Thea Hail took on the partnership of Kianna James and Izzi Dame. The performers showcased some of their terrific fighting prowess but it was James and Dame who emerged victorious. Dame pulled off The Big Boot to earn a victory for her side.
Dragon Lee vs Charlie Dempsey vs Joe Coffey
Dragon Lee fought both Charlie Dempsey and Joe Coffey to defend his North American Championship title. This was probably the best battle of the night and Lee defeated his opponents to retain the championship. Lee delivered an Operation Dragon on Dempsey to successfully defend his belt.
Luca Crusifino vs Tavion Heights
Luca Crusifino and Tavion Heights fought against each other in a first-round match in the 2023 Men’s Breakout Tournament yesterday. Heights succeeded in claiming a win against Crusifino by pinfall to qualify for the Men’s Breakout Tournament.
Nikkita Lyons vs Tatum Paxley
Nikkita Lyons produced a brilliant performance to beat Tatum Paxley last night. Lyon connected with The Splitting Leg Drop to emerge victorious.
Gallus vs Hank Walker and Tank Ledger
Gallus’ Mark Coffey and Wolfgang hit the Gallus Gate to beat Hank Walker and Tank Ledger on the latest episode of WWE NXT.
Ilja Dragunov vs Ridge Holland
In an action-packed final battle of the night, Ilja Dragunov and Ridge Holland faced each other yesterday. Holland hit Dragunov with a brainbuster that left the NXT champion in utter pain. Later, Dragunov had to be stretchered out and the bout ended as a no-contest.
