Ahead of the much-awaited global unveil on December 14, 2023, select dealerships across India have begun accepting unofficial bookings for the upcoming Kia Sonet facelift.
Prospective buyers can book the refreshed SUV by depositing a token amount ranging between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000.
The revamped Sonet boasts significant aesthetic upgrades, showcasing a redesigned front and rear profile. Notable exterior enhancements include newly introduced inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, a sleeker patterned grille, cube-shaped LED headlamps, bumper-mounted LED fog lamps, and a connected taillight setup.
Continuing its legacy as a feature-rich SUV, the updated Sonet maintains its allure on the inside with a plethora of amenities. Expect a generous touchscreen infotainment system, seamless wireless connectivity for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, auto-dimming IRVM, automatic climate control, a wireless charger, a top-notch Bose-sourced music system, digital instrument cluster, and ambient lighting. Safety-wise, it’s anticipated to offer a 360-degree surround camera, a suite of six airbags, head-up display, and a level 1 ADAS suite.
Under the hood, the new Sonet is likely to retain its existing powertrain options, featuring the 1.2-litre NA petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and the robust 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission choices are expected to mirror those available in the current model.
