In the list, the top position has been secured by the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R AMT (automated manual transmission). It comes at the starting price of Rs 6.54 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top model goes up to Rs 7.42 lakh (ex-showroom).
The hatch is powered by 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, generating a max power of 88 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque. The company claims that the hatchback is capable of offering a decent mileage of between 24 kmpl to 25 kmpl.
Maruti Suzuki Swift AMT
The hatch is undoubtedly one of the value-for-money products for those who are looking for an automatic model under budget. Interested ones can purchase the AMT transmission VXI model at a starting price of Rs 7.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
When it comes to powertrain, the vehicle shares the same figures and engine specs with Wagon R. However, it comes with some trending features, offering a better drive experience.
As far as the fuel effienency is concerned, it offers a not-so-bad 22.56 kmpl.
Tata Punch AMT
Ever since the Tata Punch made its official entry into the Indian market, it received an overwhelming response from the customers. Still, the tech-loaded four-wheeler holds a special position in the segment, all thanks to its boxy design and built quality.
The micro-SUV’s AMT model was introduced under the price bracket between Rs 6-8 lakh, and goes up to Rs 7.5 lakh for the top model Adventure AMT, followed by Camo Adventure AMT (Rs 7.6 lakh), and AMT Rhythm variant (Rs 7.95 lakh). To note, all the mentioned prices are ex-showroom and might fluctuate, depending upon cities and states.
