Who doesn’t love their money to grow at an exponential speed? But none of the financial instruments can promise a return as high as Bitcoin. The crypto currency is making all sorts of noise, some good some bad, but it’s hard to deny its success in 2017. Such is the massive gain in currency that people are buying expensive cars with Bitcoins.
Although not a trading instrument, people are anticipating the massive gain it saw in 2017 to replicate in the coming years and hence want a hold of the BTC. One such California based car dealer has sold expensive cars like Bugatti Chiron and Pagani Huyara to a Bitcoin investor in lieu of Bitcoins.
According to DuPont Registry, Pagani Newport Beach in California sold a Bugatti Chiron and a Pagani Huayra Americano with the Tempesta package for 450 BTC. That’s a combined cost of around $6 million at today’s rate.
The Bugatti Chiron with 1,479-horsepower (1,102-kilowatt) was finished in a handsome jet black exterior with an accenting grey and black leather interior. The Pagani with 720-hp (536-kW), meanwhile, was finished in a silver exterior with red accenting stripes and exposed carbon fiber bodywork.
Both cars are extremely rare, and cost $3 million each. Back in December, someone in Atlanta, Georgia wanted to sell brand-new McLaren 720S for 25 BTC.
