Toyota Hilux Electric to Launch in 2025, Here's What to Expect
The company has not revealed any launch-related details as yet. However, officials have already confirmed the launch of the electric Hilux.

In a move to contribute to the EV ecosystem, the German car manufacturer Toyota seems all set to transform its tech-loaded Hilux Revo BEV into an electric. It has been reported that the electric model will be based on Hilux’s upcoming generation, which is likely to break the cover in 2025.

The company has not revealed any launch-related details as yet. However, officials have already cleared the doubts, and have confirmed the launch of the electric Hilux.

Design Elements

It will follow the same design cues as the Hilux, featuring the identical bold stance, bulky front fascia, heavy cladding on sides, and aggressive road appearance.

Report says the electric-powered pick-up truck will be developed in Thailand, and will be sold there initially before reaching other parts of the world. The country has been selected to release the model due to the high demand for the vehicle in the segment.

Range and Battery

Most of the spec-related details are under wrap as yet. However, the company has stated that the electric Hilux will offer an overall range of around 200 km on a single charge, which looks quite low.

It has been informed that the brand does not want to mess with its power and driving capabilities by putting a heavy battery pack. To offer an impressive driving experience on multiple terrains, the Toyota will use a small battery setup, which will complement its practicality and maneuverability.

Rivals

Once launched, it will compete against the upcoming electric Isuzu D-max VCross Pickup Truck, which already made its presence felt in the global market.
