Devaragudda Goravaiah Karnika of the Malathesh Swamy Temple is a prophet from Haveri district, Karnataka, and is known for his Dasara prophecies. He recently made another prediction at Denkana Maradi, Karnataka, where 30,000 devotees had assembled to listen to him. He said that a new government will be formed in the state with the support of three crore voters. He has made another revelation in his prediction and said that there is a possibility that there will be a change in government due to one woman’s intervention.
Goravaiah Karnika did not specify whether he was implying the women vote base or a woman politician. He also said, “Mukkoti Challitale Kalyana.” It means that three crore farmers have spent a lot of funds to procure water for their crops. He predicted that they still suffer because of the displeasure of the rain god, Varuna.
Goravaiah Karnika added, however, that this year there will be a rain shower in Karnataka. Acharya Santhosh Bhat Guruji, a Chief Priest, analysed the predictions of the current year made by DG Karnika and confirmed them, News18 Local reported.
Karnika also made another prediction and said that “lotus can bloom again in the centre”. Lotus is the symbol of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). As of October 2023, the Indian National Congress is ruling Karnataka and Siddaramaiah is the Chief Minister.
Thousands of devotees of North Karnataka have believed in Karnika’s predictions for a long time now. He had predicted last year that a young face would rise to a greater height in Karnataka politics. He had also said that the fresh candidate will also be seated in the highest power seat in the 2023 Assembly elections. This prediction became the talk of the town as several political enthusiasts were eager to know about the young candidate in the elections.
The astrology followers and other people were of the view that BJP leaders CT Ravi, Sunil Kumar, Vijayendra, P Rajiv and Aravind Bellad were some young leaders. They opined that the young face Goravaiah Karnika is talking about could be one of these. Karnika, however, didn’t name any of these candidates.
