Release Of Kannada Actor Yuva Rajkumar-starrer Yuva Postponed: Reports

Late Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar’s nephew Yuva Rajkumar was all set to make his debut in the cinema with the film Yuva, written and directed by Santhosh Ananddram. Yuva is billed to be a family drama and action entertainer film. Puneeth’s followers were all excited to see his acting prowess in the film which was slated to release on December 22.

However, according to reports, the release date of Yuva has been postponed. Yuva will now reportedly be released on March 17, 2024, Puneeth Rajkumar’s birth anniversary. Why the release date of Yuva has been shifted to next year? No reports have cited the reason for the same.

Yuva also features Achyuth Kumar in a pivotal role. Sapthami Gowda and Prashanth Natana have also been roped in for this film. Earlier, the makers were planning to release this film on March 17, Puneeth Rajkumar’s 48th birth anniversary.

Yuva will be released in Kannada and the plans to release this film in other languages are still underway. Renowned music composer B Ajaneesh Loknath has composed the music for this movie. He got recognition for composing the music for the critically acclaimed movie Kantara.

Hombale Films, founded by film producer Vijay Kirangandur, is backing Yuva. As quoted by India Today, producer Vijay Kiragandur said, “We are excited to announce our latest venture, a family drama movie that combines the best of both worlds – intense action and powerful storytelling. The debutant, Dr. Rajkumar’s grandson, has shown great potential, and we are confident that he will do justice to the role. We are confident that the movie will resonate with audiences of all ages and deliver an unforgettable experience.”

Meanwhile, Yuva Rajkumar has been sharing updates related to Yuva, on Instagram with the latest one shared on director Santhosh Ananddram’s birthday.

“Happy birthday Santhosh sir. Many more happy returns of the day, @santhosh_ananddram sir,” the actor wrote in the caption.
