Mumbai: Infosys Ltd(INFY.NS), India's second-largest software services exporter, on Thursday posted a 3.5 per cent rise in quarterly net profit, lagging analyst estimates.
Revenue for the company, which makes more than two-thirds of its sales from clients in the United States and Europe, rose 4.2 per cent at Rs 13,411 crore, against Rs 12,875 crore for the like period of the previous fiscal.
The shares of the company, which were in the red for the bulk of trading session on Friday, were ruling at Rs 2,045.00, with a loss of 77.55, or 3.65 per cent, over the previous close.
