The minister said that we need to tell the world that our country is not only 'incredible India but credible India'.

He went on to laud the efforts of the India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) as a key player in building the new global Indian brand.

"The session set the tone for marketers to learn the benefits of simulating a future for a brand rather than banking upon the past brand images," Kamal Nath said.

CII President R Seshasayee also expressed confidence over country's surging growth and buoyant environment and affirmed India as one of the hottest destinations for trade and commerce.

However, he expressed a need to emphasize the indigenous brand of India.
