New Delhi: Last week the Delhi Court observed that the Reliance Airport Developers' case is of urgent national importance and needs to be disposed off at the earliest.
But with Reliance now alleging that GMR-Fraport consortium concealed crucial information, which could have cost them the bid, the matter has been adjourned to February 14.
Reliance says that the Philippines Supreme Court reversed the contract between the Philippine government and the Fraport consortium, ruling that 'the deal was illegal and fraught with irregularities'.
Reliance says that the GMR-Fraport consortium should not have been awarded points for Terminal Development Capability based on its Manila experience.
The company also says that the 0.5 marks GMR scored on this account pushed it above qualifying technical benchmark of 80.
Reliance also alleges that the CEO of Fraport is being investigated on bribery charges by the German Police, another diclosure which was not made by the consortium.
Both GMR and the Government are likely to reply to these allegations on Tuesday.
