It was yet another clinical performance at home for the Chennai Super Kings as they produced a dominant performance on all fronts to shut down the Gujarat Titans to make it two wins in as many games in the 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League.
CSK were in front from ball one as Shivam Dube’s fifty and Ruturaj Gaikwad and Rachin Ravindra’s 46 runs each, coupled with the quick cameo from Sameer Rizvi pushed the hosts to set a target of 206 runs. The bowling attack was just as dominant as they managed to get the big wickets within the powerplay to plug any chances of the visitors chasing down the total.
