Indian batter Sanju Samson was in menacing form on Saturday in the third and final T20I against Bangladesh at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad as he posted a remarkable century.
Samson took Bangladesh bowler Rishad Hossain to the cleaners as the wicketkeeper batter smashed the spinner for five sixers in the 10th over of the game.
Hossain began his second over of the game with a dot, but his fortunes turned upside down in the remainder of the over as Samson whacked him all around the park.
India opened the innings with Samson and Abhishek Sharma before the latter fell early to Tanzim Hasan in the third over of the game for just 4 runs off as many deliveries.
However, Samson and Suryakumar took the game by the scruff as they decimated the Bangladesh bowling attack.
Samson reached his maiden T20I century in just 40 deliveries, which is the second quickest to the triple-digit mark by an Indian, and the fourth quickest century by a batter from a Test-playing nation.

Samson made 111 runs off just 47 balls before he fell to Mustafizur Rahman as Mahedi Hasan held on to the catch offered up at deep by the Indian.
Indian captain Suryakumar added 75 runs off just 35 deliveries before falling to Mahmadullah as Rishad Hossain caught the skipper out.
Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag added 70 runs for the fourth wicket before the latter was caught by Liton Das behind the wicket off Taskin Ahmed’s bowling.
Pandya chipped in with 47 runs before falling to Tanzim, before the Bangladesh bowler picked up another scalp in the succeeding delivery to dismiss Nitish Kumar Reddy for a golden duck.
Rinku Singh and Washington Sundar remained unbeaten on 8 runs and 1 run respectively as India made a mammoth total of 297 for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs.
