'Very Good Film': Rohit Sharma Reviews Vikrant Massey-Starrer 12th Fail
India captain Rohit Sharma enjoyed 12th Fail, calling it a 'very good film'.

Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has become the latest celebrity to join the 12th Fail fan club. Rohit is currently enjoying some time off duty with India set to resume their Test series campaign with the third match against England scheduled to be played in Rajkot later this week.

During this break, Rohit attended a public event where he was asked about a film or a show that he recently binged on or had hopes of watching.

The Team India captain promptly replied that he quite liked the Vikrant Massey-starrer 12th Fail. “I watched a movie called 12th Fail, very good film,” he said.

12th Fail, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, has been in the headlines ever since its release a few months ago. The film has been widely praised for its excellent storyline, touching the hearts of viewers. The biographical drama revolves around the struggles faced by UPSC aspirants all over the country.

It helps the viewers take a deep dive into the lives of these individuals who toil hard for years to crack one of the toughest exams in the country.

The plot primarily focuses on an aspirant named Manoj Kumar Sharma who had to overcome major hurdles on his way to becoming an IPS officer.

Rohit, the star India batter, will be hoping for a productive outing in Rajkot.

He had a disappointing outing in South Africa and a similar trend is continuing in the ongoing home series against England. In the four innings Rohit has played so far against the Englishmen, he has put up scores of 24, 29, 14 and 13.

India will be missing two key players in Rajkot, including the likes of Virat Kohli and KL Rahul. India received some boost as allrounder Ravindra Jadeja completed a successful recovery from his hamstring injury and is expected make his way back into the playing XI.

The ongoing five-match series between India and England is now locked at 1-1.
