An incident of mass cheating has surfaced in a Jan Shikshak Kendra in the village of Bichhua in Madhya Pradesh. As per Local18 Madhya Pradesh, the Block Resource Coordinator (BRC) KK Sharma discovered this incident when he saw a young man erase the answers written on the green board. This man managed to escape after he saw the BRC enter the class of 8th standard.
BRC Sharma said that on March 12, a science paper was being held in Class 8th. The BRC officer said that he reached the examination centre at 09:40 am to inspect it. According to the officer, the moment he reached there, he saw a youth erasing the answers on the green board with a towel in room number 4.
The officer suspected something and the moment he went to have a word with that person, he escaped from the room. According to the BRC officer, the checking of the answer sheets of the students revealed a startling fact. The officer said that the answers to the questions in the answer sheets of the class 8th students were identical. Now, a show cause notice has been sent to the centre head Anil Dubey, and the class 8th teacher Jyoti Patel.
As per reports, the teacher Jyoti had been assigned the duty of supervising room number 4 but she was instead found present in room number 8. This incident of mass cheating occurred on March 12 but as of now, the school management and the centre head still don’t have any clues of the person who was copying the answers on the boards.
A similar board of mass cheating was about to happen in an examination centre at the Karamsad Nagarpalika, Anand district, Gujarat. As per a report published in the Times of India, an unidentified person was trying to dictate a few answers to the class 12 students attempting the Geography exam at the Sardar Patel Vidyamandir. The moment Anand District Education Officer Kamini Trivedi entered the premises, this unidentified person fled the examination centre. The DEO told TOI that 20 staffers from the school have been transferred.
