Bar Council Of India Bans 7 Colleges From Admitting Students, Check List
Below is list of centres of legal education that are barred from taking admission in law degree courses for the academic year 2024-2025 and subsequent years until further notice

The Bar Council of India (BCI) has debarred seven law colleges from admitting students in law degree programmes for the academic year 2024-2025 and subsequent years until further notice. This decision comes after a thorough review of the institutions’ devotion to educational standards and regulations. These colleges will not be permitted to enroll new students until they meet the required standards and receive BCI’s permission. Among the prohibited colleges by the Bar Council of India, four are from Uttar Pradesh, two from Andhra Pradesh, and one from Rajasthan.

Here’s a list of centres of legal education that are barred from taking admission in law degree courses for the academic year 2024-2025 and subsequent years until further notice:

— HS Law College, Agra Road, Etah, Uttar Pradesh (Affiliated from Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Paliwal Park, Agra, UP)

— Master Somnath Law College, 5 KM Stone from Saras Circle, NH-11, Agra Road, Bharatpur, Rajasthan (affiliated from Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Dr Radhakrishnan Shiksha Sankul, J.L.N. Marg, Rajasthan)

— Shri Krishna College of Law, Daula, Baghpat-Meerut Road, district Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh (affiliated from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Uttar Pradesh)

— Sri Eshwar Reddy College of Law, Anjimedu, Yerpedu Mandal, Tirupati District, Andhra Pradesh (affiliated from Sri Venkateswara University, Andhra Pradesh)

— Sri Shirdi Sai Vidya Parishad, Sri Shirdi Sai Law College, Gavarapalem, Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh (affiliated from Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh)

— SS College of Law, Madanpur, Tehsil Khair, District Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh (affiliated from Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra)

— Teju Singh Memorial Law College, Shabaipur, Gajraula, J P Nagar, Uttar Pradesh (affiliated from Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Uttar Pradesh)

— NIILM School of Law, NIILM University, NH-152, Ambala Road, Haryana

The selected colleges are expected to rectify the highlighted issues as soon as possible and request a review after the inadequacies have been corrected. The Bar Council of India will then re-evaluate these institutions and may withdraw the prohibition if they are determined to be completely compliant with the required standards.
