Bengaluru Metro Opens Applications For 58 Assistant Security Officer Positions

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is inviting applications for the post of Assistant Security Officer in the Operation & Maintenance Wing of Metro. The prime responsibility of the selected candidates will be to look after security and other related works in the Metro Stations and Depots. It has released a total vacancy of 58 Assistant Security Managers. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of BMRCL–https://english.bmrc.co.in/. The last date to fill out the application is September 9. The receipt of the signed application which is to be sent to the General Manager’s office is September 13. The salary of the selected candidates will vary from Rs 30,000 to 32,950 as per the age criteria.

Step 1: Visit the official website of BMRCL–https://english.bmrc.co.in/

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the recruitment link for the Assistant Security Manager Post.

Step 3: Register yourself with your basic contact details such as email ID and phone number.

Step 4: Access the application form with your registered ID and password.

Step 5: Fill out the application form with your required details.

Step 6: Upload the necessary documents.

Step 7: Pay the application fee if required.

Step 8: Submit, download and take a printout of the application form.

After taking a printout of the online application form, the candidates are required to send it along with relevant documents of qualification and experience to the headquarters of BMRCL at Shanthinagar, Bengaluru.

Serving or Retired personnel in the rank of Junior commissioned officer/ Subedar Major/Subedar / Petty officer/Warrant Officer or equivalent from defence services are eligible for the post.

The shortlisted candidates have to undergo a physical test which will be followed by the interview. Selection will be through interview by a Committee constituted by the Competent Authority. As per the notification, the candidates with the knowledge of Kannda will be given a preference. The application form of the candidate will be disqualified if they tried to use an ill means to get the job. The serving military personnel retiring on or before 31st December 2024 may also apply.
