Bihar Board Class 12 Results 2024: Tanu Kumari Secures 3rd Position In Arts Stream
Arts stream toppers are Tushar Kumar and Nishi Sinha with 482 (96.40 per cent) and 473 (96.40 per cent) marks, respectively.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the results of the intermediate examination in the state. Besides the results, the board has also released the toppers’ list of different streams including arts, commerce, and science.

The list has mentioned the hardworking and spectacular performing students from the 2023-24 batch in the 12th class. It has also mentioned Tanu Kumari from Paliganj block of Patna. Belonging to a working-class family, Tanu Kumari’s father owns a dhaba in Jhanki Dulhin Bazaar. Tanu has secured the third position in the arts stream in the state while scoring 472 marks out of 500.

While talking about the achievement to News18, Tanu mentioned that her father has been running the house while struggling with the major financial crisis. Tanu Kumari has 4 sisters and a brother. She said that her father is happy and proud that she has brought fame and an opportunity to succeed through her performance.

Following the achievement, Tanu has mentioned that she aspires to serve society by becoming an officer. She said that she wants to become an SDM and fulfil all her parents’ dreams.

As per the list, arts stream toppers are Tushar Kumar and Nishi Sinha with 482 (96.40 per cent) and 473 (96.40 per cent), respectively. Tushar Kumar has also secured the first position in the overall ranking of the state including all the streams.

Mritunjay Kumar from the Science stream stood second with 481. On the other hand, Priya Kumari and Simran Gupta from the Commerce and Science streams, respectively have secured the third and fourth positions.

On the list, Varun Kumar from the science stream has secured the fifth position while Prince Kumar stands in the sixth rank. Akriti Kumari has ranked seventh while Nishi Sinha has ranked at eighth position. Meanwhile, Kumar Nishant and Saurav Kumar have been positioned at the ninth and tenth ranks.

According to the BSEB, a total of 12,91,684 students, comprising 6,22,217 girls and 6,69,467 boys have appeared in the examination this year. Out of which, as many as 11,26,439 students have passed the exam.
