The Central Board of Secondary Education released the class 10 and 12 revaluation exam results on June 26. Students who participated in the exam can view their results on the official website at cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in. For CBSE Class 10 and 12 revaluation results, candidates are required to use their registration number, roll number, and password.
The CBSE Class 10 results were declared on May 13. Students who were dissatisfied with their marks applied for revaluation or verification of their answer sheets. Revaluation involves a thorough re-checking of the marking by a different examiner, while verification checks for clerical errors in the totalling of marks.
CBSE Class 10, 12 Re-evaluation/Verification Results 2024: How to check
Step 1. Go to the official website of CBSE at cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in.
Step 2. Now, click on the Results tab.
Step 3. Select the option that says, “Class 10/12 Re-evaluation/Verification Result 2024.”
Step 4. Fill in your login details such as roll number, date of birth, admit card number, and school number.
Step 5. Check and download your results. Also, retain a hard copy for future reference.
Pass Percentage of CBSE Class 10th and 12th:
The overall pass percentage for CBSE class 10 exams was 93.12 per cent, an increase of 0.48 per cent from last year. Out of 21,65,805 students who appeared, 20,16,779 students passed the CBSE matric exams.
Among institutions, JNVs and KVs achieved the highest pass rate at 99.09 per cent, followed by independent schools at 94.54 per cent, CTSA at per cent, government schools at 86.72 per cent, and government-aided schools at 83.95 per cent.
Meanwhile, the overall pass percentage in CBSE class 12th was 87.98 per cent, marking a slight increase of 0.65 percentage points from last year. However, this year saw a decrease in the pass percentage of transgender students, dropping to 50 per cent from 60 per cent in 2023. The pass percentage among female students is 91.52 per cent, and for boys, it is 85.12 per cent.
According to data from the board, over 39 lakh students registered for this year’s board exams, which were conducted in 26 countries abroad in addition to India. The number of students placed in compartments (full subjects) decreased from 6.22 per cent in 2023 to 5.91 per cent this year.
