The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has declared the HBSE Class 10 result 2024. The evaluation process ended on May 8. Students who appeared for the board exams can check the Haryana Board 10 result 2024 through the official website of the Board of School Education, Haryana, at bseh.org.in. To access the results, candidates need to enter their login credentials, such as their roll number.

This year, the Haryana Board Class 10 board examination took place from February 27 to March 26, and approximately 2.8 lakh students sat for the exam. The board examination was administered in a single shift, spanning from 12:30 PM to 3 PM. Students need to score 33 per cent in each subject both theoretical and practical, and also overall to qualify for the exam.

Haryana Board 10th Result 2024: Over 95% Qualify; Increase in Pass Percentage

As per media reports, this year, the pass percentage stands at 95.22 per cent. This is a huge increase when compared to last year. Girls have outperformed boys. The pass percentage among girls is 96.32 per cent and among boys, it is 94.22 per cent. A total of 2,86,714 students took the HBSE 10th exams 2024 out of which 2,73,015 passed. A total of 3,652 students have to re-appear for the board exam. Panchkula is the best performing district while Nooh is the lowest.

Last year, as many as 2,86,425 students appeared for the Class 10 board exams, of which 37,342 students were positioned in the compartment category, and 61,682 were announced ‘fail’. The high school students achieved a pass percentage of 65.43 per cent. Girls outperformed boys and scored a pass percentage of 69.81 percent whereas 61.41 percent male students passed the Haryana Class 10 board exam. The pass percentage of government schools stood at 57.73 per cent, while private schools achieved 75.65 per cent in the HBSE Class 10 exams. The highest percentage of 89.02 percent was recorded in Rewari district.

Talking about the year 2022, as many as 73.18 per cent of students qualified the 10th exams. The pass percentage for government schools in the HBSE Class 10 exams was 63.54, while private schools achieved an impressive pass percentage of 88.21. Out of this, 76.26 per cent were girls and 70.50 per cent were boys.

In 2021, the board recorded a 100 percent pass percentage. A total of 2.27 lakh class 10 students appeared for the exam and as many as 2.21 lakh students passed the exam successfully.

Coming to the year 2020, the pass percentage was 64.59 per cent. However, in 2019, only 57.39 per cent of students had passed the Haryana Board 10th exam. The year 2018 saw a pass percentage of 51.15, out of which 47.61 percent were boys and 55.34 percent were girls.
