The notification for recruitment to 156 vacancies in different departments has been released by the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC). Of these, the total number of vacancies for Haryana Civil Services (HCS) is 48. The commission has also started accepting the online applications for the same from Wednesday, March 3 on its official website that is- www.hpsc.gov.in. Candidates who are eligible and interested in the posts can apply through the prescribed format on or before April 2 up to 11.55 pm.

HCS 2021 Eligibility CriteriaCandidates applying for the posts must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university. Also, candidates who are in the last year of their graduation degree course can apply but the date of the final year mark sheet or scoresheet should be before the HCS closing date.
The age limit of the candidates should be between 18 to 42 years. However, age relaxation will be given for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.
Selection ProcessBased on the merit list which will be prepared based on the total marks scored by the candidates in the main written exam, the final selection will be done.
How to apply for HPSC recruitmentStep 1: Interested candidates will be able to apply online by going to the official website by clicking on the link- www.hpsc.gov.in.
Step 2. You will then have to click on the advertisement tab given at the top navigation bar after which a new window will open.
Step 3. Then you will have to click on the ‘apply online’ link mentioned against the HCS (Ex.Br.) and Allied Services Examination 2020-21.
Step 4. After which a new window will appear for the HCS 2021 Application. You will have to click on the New Registration button present on the right-hand side.
Step 5. You will have to fill in personal details, mobile number and email id and then click on the Generate OTP button.
Step 6. You will next have to validate the OTP sent to the mobile number after which read the declaration and click on the check box given for the declaration.
Step 8. Then enter the captcha code given and press submit.
Step 9. You will be then provided with a registration number. You are advised to take a screenshot or note down the registration number.
Step 10. Applicants will receive an application number and password on the registered mobile number and email id.
Step 11. Applicants will be shown a page containing his or her details, you will have to check all the details and click on the Application Form link given at the top of the page.
Step 12. You will then have to fill in various personal details, category and domicile details and click on the Save and Next button.
Step 13. The candidates will then be directed to the Qualification details page and they need to fill the optional subject for the main exam also. After filling in the details, press the Save and next button.
Step 16. Candidates will also have to upload the scanned image of the photo and signature.
Step 17. After that, you will have to read the declaration and check all the boxes. Then input the captcha code and check the ‘I Agree’ check box and press submit. After this, the ‘HCS 2021 Application’ form will be submitted.
Step 18. Candidates need to take the printout of the HCS 2021 application, sign the HCS 2021 Application form and upload the application form at the place.Step 19. You will also have to pay the HCS 2021 Application fee (as per the category) after uploading the application form.
