The Indian Air Force will close the registration window for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2024 today, December 30 at 11 pm. Applicants are urged to complete the AFCAT 2024 application form as soon as possible by visiting the official websites, careerindianairforce.cdac.in or afcat.cdac.in. The AFCAT 2024 will be held on February 16, 17, and 18, 2024, at several test locations around the country for Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) positions. After registrations close, the AFCAT 2024 application form correction portal will be opened. This recruitment campaign is being held to fill 317 positions across the Indian Air Force.
AFCAT 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have completed a minimum of three years of undergraduate degree in any subject from an accredited university with a minimum of 60 per cent marks, or the equivalent, and have completed their education with a minimum of 50 per cent in each of the 10+2 subjects of maths and physics. Candidates must be between the ages of 20 and 24 to apply for the Flying Branch and between the ages of 20 and 26 to register for the Ground Duty Branch.

Step 3: Sign up and continue with the application procedure
Step 4: Complete the application form, submit supporting documents, and pay the application fees.
Step 4: Submit the AFCAT 01/2024 application form and print a copy for future use.
AFCAT 2024: Application Fee
Applicants must pay Rs 550 as the registration fee for AFCAT 2024. Those applying for NCC Special entry, on the other hand, are exempt from paying the application fee. Candidates can get further information on the Indian Air Force’s official website.
AFCAT 2024: Salary
After clearing AFCAT, one can become an officer in the Indian Air Force’s flying branch and earn roughly Rs 85,372 per month. However, the pay for Ground Duty (Technical Branch) will be around Rs 74,872 per month, while the pay for Ground Duty (Non-Technical Branch) will be approximately Rs 71,872 per month. Flight Cadets will be paid a set stipend of Rs 56,100 per month for the duration of their training.
