10 Tips to Handle a Full-time Job with Studies (without unauthorised leaves)
1. Cut off the distractions
Give minimum time for parties, gossip and involvement in office politics.
2. Living a focussed life
Ignore everything that is not related to your job and your studies. Maintain a calm attitude and free up your mind as much as you can.
3. Having a strong emotional support system
This implies that you should have someone you can have a conversation with when you feel stressed. It is because a happy mind is crucial to studying in peace.
4. Stop overthinking
The UPSC aspirants should not delve into the questions of what will they do if their boss does not grant them leave to write the exam. Another question that scares the candidates is how will they face their colleagues if they fail. This is stupid overthinking and when studying, the candidates should only focus on the execution.
5. Don’t overshare your study plans with the coworkers
At the workplace, the candidates should not share their study strategies with their colleagues as this can lead to negative consequences.
6. Have a to-the-point strategy
The participants have a limited time so they should use the most optimal resources for studying.
7. Use leaves optimally
Make a systematic plan to complete the syllabus according to the leaves.
8. Relax and take breaks
Handling a job and studying at the same time is an exhausting process and requires a day off.
9. Develop good relations at the workplace
Be helpful to your colleagues so that they can also help you when needed.
10. Don’t compromise on the office work
Study in your free time only and don’t compromise with the assigned tasks.
