The Jharkhand Board Exam 2024 will be held from February 6 to 26 in pen and paper mode. All candidates will have to reach the centre 30 minutes before the start of the examination

JAC Jharkhand Board Exam 2024: The Jharkhand board matriculation and inter examination will start from today, February 6. The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has completed the preparations for the examination. This time 7,66,500 candidates will appear in the examination. While 4,21,678 students will appear in the matriculation examination, 3,44,822 students will appear in the intermediate exam. A total of 94,433 candidates will appear in the intermediate science exam, 25,907 in commerce, and 2,24,502 in arts.

The exam will be held from February 6 to 26 in pen and paper mode. The Class 10th board exam will be conducted in the morning shift from 9.45 am to 1.05 pm. Whereas JAC Intermediate Exam 2024 will be conducted in the second shift from 2 pm to 5.20 pm.

All candidates will have to reach the centre 30 minutes before the start of the examination. It will be conducted in OMR sheet and written mode under which students will have to answer multiple choice questions, while other questions will have to be answered in written mode.

To pass the Jharkhand Board class 12 and 10 examinations 2024, students must secure a minimum of 33 per cent in each subject and overall.

JAC board exam 2024: How many centers will the exam be conducted at?

There will be tight security at the exam centre. A total of 1978 centres have been created across the state for the board examination. Class 10th exam will be conducted at 1238 centres and Class 12th exam will be conducted at 740 centres. More than 4,21,000 students will appear in the high school board examination and more than 3,44,000 students will appear in the intermediate board examination.

Last time, the JAC board exam was conducted from March 14. The matriculation examination concluded on April 3 and the intermediate examination was held till April 5. The exam was held at a total of 1950 centres. Around 4,34,000 students took the matriculation exam and 3,3400 students in intermediate appeared in the examination.
