The JEE Main 2024 session 2 exam is slated to be held between April 4 to 15. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the exam city slip soon on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. Once issued, candidates will get information about the JEE Main exam centre through the city slip. They must note that the admit cards are not the same as exam city slip. The admit cards will be issued three days before the exams commence. Entry to the exam hall will not be allowed inside the examination center without the admit card.
This year, more than 11 lakh students had applied for the session 1 examination whereas for the JEE Main session 2 exam, around 12 lakhs have registered. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift exam will be held from 9 am to noon. Whereas, the second shift examination will be conducted between 3 pm to 6 pm.
JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Exam City Slip: Steps to Download
Step 1: Go to jeemain.nta.ac.in, the official JEE Main website.
Step 2: Select the ‘Download JEE Main City Slip’ link that is prominently displayed on the homepage.
Step 3: Fill out the necessary information, which includes your date of birth, JEE Main 2024 application number, and the captcha code that appears on the screen. Hit “Submit.”
Step 4: The JEE Main BE, BTech city intimation slip will be accessible after a successful login.
Step 5: Download and save a printed copy of the BE, BTech city intimation slip for your records.
It is necessary to pass the JEE Main exam for admission to engineering institutes like IIIT, NIT, etc. Those who rank in the top 2.5 lakh of JEE Main are eligible next to appear for the JEE Advanced, which is conducted for admission to the IITs. The registration process for JEE Advanced 2024 is slated to begin on April 30, and the exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 4.
