Step 2. In “Candidate Activity Board,” click on the link that reads “View Seat Allotment Result-Round 2.”
Step 3. A new page will be opened asking you to fill in your application number, password, and security pin.
Step 4. After entering all the details, click on the “Submit” option.
Step 5. The JoSAA round 2 seat allotment results will appear on the screen.
Step 6. Download it and don’t forget to save a copy of the allotment result for your future reference.
Candidates with the allocated seats should also download the initial seat allotment intimation slip. Follow the steps below to download the same:
Step 1. Accept the allotted seat.
Step 2. Now, upload all the necessary documents.
Step 3. Pay the acceptance fee.
Step 4. Respond to queries (if any)
Candidates are required to pay the fees and upload the documents from June 27 to July 1. The deadline for fee payment is July 1 and responses to queries must be submitted by July 3.
Notably, if the candidate fails to pay the seat acceptance fee by the deadline, their allocated seat will be cancelled. They will also not be considered for seat allocation in the next round. If they do not upload the documents within the deadline, even after paying the seat acceptance fee using the prepayment provision, the allotted seat will be cancelled.
Candidates can withdraw their seats or exit from the allocation process from June 28 until July 2. The results for the third seat allotment will be released on July 4.
The seat will be allotted depending on factors like rank, choice preferences, and seat availability. Candidates allocated seats will need to follow steps such as paying counselling fees, downloading allotment letters, accepting seats, verifying documents, and more. Students who have passed the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams are eligible for JoSAA counselling.
