The written test for the Police Sub-Inspector recruitment was initially slated for September 22. However, it was later rescheduled for September 28 and then again for October 3. The decision to postpone the recruitment examination came after several applicants, along with BJP leaders, urged the state government to delay the examination, citing a clash with the Staff Selection Commission and Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) mains exams scheduled for the same day.
