Recent announcements from Kendriya Vidyalayas, operating under the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), have stirred widespread interest among job seekers. The positions include Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Primary Teacher (PRT), and more. Kendriya Vidyalaya is presently conducting walk-in interviews at several locations. Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates are required to have completed their graduation with a minimum of 55% marks and should not have any pending exams from previous courses. Candidates must have successfully passed their 12th grade from a recognised board and obtained a Master’s degree from any recognised university. Alongside, individuals with NRI status are ineligible to apply for positions within KVS.

Age Limit

There are specific age limits for different teaching roles. If you’re applying for the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) job, your age shouldn’t exceed 40 years. For the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) position, the maximum age allowed is 35 years. While for Primary Teachers, the age limit is set at 30 years.

Selection Process

The examination process will consist of two rounds. The initial round will feature a computer-based test (CBT). Those who pass the test will proceed to the second round, which is the interview round.

Application Fees

For Post-Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), and Primary Teachers, the application fee is Rs 750 each.

Salary

The salary for Post-Graduate Teachers (PGTs) falls between the bracket of Rs 9,300 and Rs 34,800. Grade pay of Rs 4,800 will also be allotted. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) will also receive the same salary with an additional Grade Pay of Rs 4,600. Similarly, Primary Teachers (PRT) receive a salary between Rs 9,300 and Rs 34,800, along with a Grade Pay of Rs 4,200.
