The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has initiated the Centralised Process of Admission (CAP) for 5-year LLB programmes. Eligible and interested candidates need to register via the official website llb5cap24.mahacet.org. The deadline to apply for MAH 5-year LLB counselling 2024 is July 13. Along with the LLB 5-year counselling application form, the CET cell has posted information regarding the seat matrix, admission procedure, and fee structure.
Candidates who meet the educational requirements must present original documents such as class 10, 12, UG and PG degree mark sheets, domicile certificates, birth certificates, EWS certificates, non-creamy layer certificates, caste certificates and caste validity certificates. The official information brochure stated, “Candidates who are not able to produce the required original documents at the time of document verification will be rejected & will not be considered as eligible candidates.”

According to the eligibility criteria for 5-year LLB programme admission, Maharashtra state candidates in the open, EWS, SEBC, and orphan categories should have 45 per cent aggregate marks in Class 12, while those in the SC and ST categories should have obtained 40 per cent aggregate marks. The reserved category students from other states will not receive the 5 per cent relaxation.
Applicants from the VJNT, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, SBC, and OBC categories from Maharashtra will be eligible for admission if they have at least 42 per cent aggregate marks.
Furthermore, students who have received a Class 12 or first-degree diploma after completing their education via distance or correspondence are eligible for this course. However, applicants who got a Class 12 certificate through the Open University system without any prior basic certification, are ineligible. Additionally, there is no upper age limit at present for admission to the LLB-5 Year course.
