The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2024 notification that states that the registrations will start today, March 21. Candidates will be able to fill out the application form for the MPPSC SET 2024 exam through the official website of the MPPSC at mppsc.mp.gov.in. As per the schedule, the registration window will open on March 21 and remain accessible until April 20.
It is to be noted that the commission is conducting the MPPSC SET written examination to assess the eligibility of applicants for the Assistant Professor posts in the state.
MPPSC SET 2024: Educational Qualification
Unreserved category candidates must have completed their post-graduation with a minimum of 55 per cent marks from UGC-recognised institutions. However, 50 per cent is required from reserved category candidates in postgraduate. Other than this, applicants who are waiting for their final year results are also eligible to apply for the exam.

MPPSC SET 2024: Here’s How To Apply
Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of MPPSC at mppsc.mp.gov.in.
Step 2: Then, navigate to the link titled ‘SET Application 2024’ on the homepage.
Step 3: A new page will open, where applicants have to fill out the application form with the required academic and personal details.
Step 4: Make the payment of the prescribed application fee.
Step 5: Upload the necessary documents in said size and format.
Step 6: Once done, submit the form and save a copy of the MPPSC SET 2024 registration form.
MPPSC SET 2024: Selection Process
The selection of the candidates in the MPPSC SET 2024 shall be done on the basis of marks scored in the written examination. The written exam will take place in offline pen-and-paper mode, comprising two question sets. The first set shall be a general paper consisting of 50 questions from Teaching and Research Aptitude, while the second paper will contain a total of 100 questions based on the candidates’ subject of choice. The total marks for the written exam will be 300, and the maximum time to answer both papers will be 180 minutes.
To clear the written examination, unreserved category candidates will be required to score a minimum aggregate of 40 per cent in both papers, while those from the reserved categories will be required to score a minimum of 35 per cent.
