The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results for National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate courses on June 4 at 4:30 PM. Manav Priyadarshini, a resident of Ranchi (Jharkhand) has waved the flag of success by getting the number one rank. He has brought laurels not only to Ranchi but to the entire state. In a recent media interaction, Manav shared his success story. He said that the credit for his success goes entirely to his parents, school and coaching teachers, who have always motivated him to do well. He studied at Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali, from primary to 12th grade. The teachers there have been very supportive. If he had any doubt, they were always ready to clear it and always motivated him.

Talking about his preparation for the exam, Manav said that it is important to give equal importance to every subject. Apart from this, he added that revision and practice from time to time are also very important. Giving mock tests helps in knowing the preparation one has done. Sometimes he used to get low marks, but he used to see where he had gone wrong instead of being upset, and immediately started working on it and continued giving mock tests.

In these two years, he has completely distanced himself from social media. He had uninstalled Instagram and any other social media apps as it was diverting him from studies a lot. Manav shared that his hobby is playing football and cricket, so whenever he needed a break or had time, he tried his hand at both of these sports and refreshed his mind.

Manav added that Cristiano Ronaldo is his inspiration, because he always stays disciplined, shows honesty towards his game, passion, fitness, and performs excellently. He learns a lot by watching Ronaldo. Manav Priyadarshini completely avoided junk food during his preparation days. He used to have cheat meals twice a month. He also added that he mostly ate light food so that it would be easy for him to study for a long time. Dal-rice, made by his mother, is his favourite.
