The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has invited nominations for the posts of ministerial staff on a deputation basis. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of the NIA at nia.gov.in. It is to be noted that aspirants can apply only within 2 months from the date of publication of this advertisement.

NIA Recruitment 2024: Vacancy Details
Under this registration process, the National Investigation Agency is aiming to fill up a total of 40 posts in the organisation. Out of the above-mentioned posts, there are 7 vacancies for Assistant posts, 24 for Stenographer Grade I and 9 for Upper Division Clerk.
NIA Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Assistant: Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university and have passed a computer proficiency test as prescribed by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). They must have six years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis at level 5 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
Stenographer Grade I: To be eligible for the Stenographer Grade I posts, candidates must possess a graduate degree from a recognised university and possess computer proficiency. They must have six years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis at level 5 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department. Also, ten years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in level 4 in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
Skills Required
Stenography speed: 10 minutes at 100 words per minute
Transcription: 40 minutes (English), 55 minutes (Hindi) on the computer.
Age limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation for all posts shall not exceed 56 years as of the closing date of receipt of applications.
NIA Recruitment 2024: Salary
Assistant and Stenographer Grade I: Candidates who qualify for this post can expect a salary under Level 6 in the pay matrix (Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400).
Upper Division Clerk: For this post, candidates shall get Level 4 in the pay matrix (Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,000).
