TNPSC Group 2 Hall Ticket 2024 Released at tnpsc.gov.in; How To Download

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has published the Group 2 Hall Ticket 2024 for the preliminary examination. Through the TNPSC website, tnpsc.gov.in, candidates who are scheduled to appear for the Combined Civil Services Prelims Examination can download their admit card. Candidates must provide their Application Number and Date of Birth in order to access the TNPSC  Group 2 Hall Ticket 2024.

To fill the positions of TNPSC Group 2 & 2A, TNPSC will hold the Group 2 Prelims Exam 2024 on September 14, 2024, in a single shift from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm. Candidates who sit for the test must bring their admit card as well as a valid government-issued ID to the exam centre.

TNPSC Group 2 Exam is divided into three stages: preliminary, main, and interview. Candidates who pass the preliminary exam will be eligible for the main exam.

All applicants who plan to take the test can get their admit card by following the instructions provided below.

Step 1: Go to TNPSC’s official website, tnpsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Go to the home page and click the TNPSC Group 2 Hall Ticket 2024 link.

Step 3: Enter your login information and click submit.

Step 4: Your TNPSC Group 2 Hall Ticket 2024 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Review the admit card and download the document.

Step 6: Print a physical copy in case you need it later.

The preliminary examination lasts for 3 hours and will consist of 200 questions. The highest possible mark is 300, while the lowest qualifying mark is 90. General Studies, aptitude, mental abilities, and language (general Tamil or general English) will all be tested. According to the TNPSC Group 2 preliminary exam pattern, questions in the General Tamil/General English, Aptitude, and Mental Ability Test will be of S.S.L.C. standard. Questions from General Studies will be at the Degree Standard level.

The Preliminary Examination is intended solely as a screening exam. The marks acquired in the Preliminary Examination by applicants deemed qualified for admission to the Main Examination will not be used to determine their final order of merit.
